  My wife and I stayed at the Predator Ridge Lodge (which was amazing), but I was disappointed in the Range. The first morning I breakfasted there, the hostess advised that I do not order any of the skillets as they take thirty minutes to prepare. So I ordered the eggs benny and my wife ordered scrambled. Our orders arrived promptly half an hour later. Not a big deal, but a little annoying in light of the warning. Also the hollandaise definitely left something to be desired. The next morning, we waited ten minutes for the hostess to seat us, but she never showed up, so we went in and decided on the buffet. We were starting to feel a little pressed for time. There were no eggs. There was a giant empty chafing dish, there was sausage, bacon and pancakes, but no egg. We waited for another 10 minutes with a few other people. We saw the waitress a few times, but she never came close enough to hail. Then we just left. We were there for 20 minutes and never even spoke an employee. The funny bit is that the hostess from the day before insisted we make a reservation. I wonder why?

  Venison Capaccio was good as was the sirloin. steak came out overdone but was quickly replaced. gravy was solid. would eat here again. my table was missing one foot and propped up by a bunch of folded coasters.

  WASTE of $ and TIME. Tried it twice- Brunch & Pasta night, both giant disappointments. My partner (experience chef) and I (novice chef) can make way better food. The service is nothing special, there is a lack of organization, the staff stand around watch (management likes to sneak into the kitchen), the food quality is garbage (i.e. canned black olives for 'pasta night'), the price does not translate into value. They seem to have the no/little competition and take for granted their mildly pleased visitors. Definitely not a good quality or fine dining experience....not sure what it can claim (other than the golf course). Not worth the visit. P.S. they do NOT serve dessert on pasta night!!!
