  Wonder at what restaurant other reviewers visited. Unquestionably on the expensive side, but the food was fantastic. With four of in our party, everyone tried a little of each dish: the Caesar salad stood out amongst the starters, the lamb shank among the mains (adding lobster to Thai noodles was good, but not worth the extra $16) and the cheesecake was comfortably the best dessert, being both rich & sharp in equal measure. If you're in the mood for a fancy meal, visit & make your own mind up.

  Sparkling Hill offers packages that include a 3 course meal each night. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled peach and walnut salad starter and the piña colada panna cotta! My halibut was alright, but nothing special. Service and location were excellent.

  Had the Caesar salad, Trout and Sorbet. All were flavorless and bland! Service was good. Thoroughly disappointed with this fine dining experience.

  Do not eat at Peakfine restaurant. It's very sad that a beautiful venue like Sparkling Hill can't figure out basic meals. Service is good and the staff is friendly but for a $300 tab you should leave satisfied. The golf course has better food or spend the overpriced plate prices to hire a cab into Vernon.
