- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Okanagan Bake House on Kal Lake Road is truly the best bread bakery in Vernon. They specialise in European styles of bread like Italian and German white breads, but have a great selection of organic rye breads and multi-grains. The sunflower rye is without question my favourite. Get there early, as in before 10:00AM, for best selection as they only bake fresh and certain items can sell out quickly.
